A mile wide tornado went through Moore, Oklahoma, a suburb of Oklahoma City, and nearly destroyed it. Houses were leveled to the ground and an elementary school’s gymnasium was split in two when it struck the school. At least 51 people were killed, including children, according to the latest news. Rescue workers are still searching for more survivors and victims.
In 1999, a tornado at the speed of 300 miles per hour went through Moore damaging it and killing its residents. Sad to see this happen to them again 14 years later.
