The alternative news magazine Weekly Dig took a swipe at the Metro‘s Brayden Simms in their Mediafarm column this week. The article is titled, A Megaphone of Crap. They wondered why such a mediocre writer is writing a column for a major daily newspaper. I wonder that too.
It was just recently when Simms, a former worker at the Miami Herald, started writing a column in the Metro Boston called Metropolitick (or maybe that’s Simms’ pen name). He is supposed to write a polticial opinion column, but he doesn’t say much. I have to agree with the Dig because what I am seeing when I read Brayden Simms’ pieces in the Metro Boston does look like crap.
How do talentless people get these jobs?
