Day 2 was more exhausting than Day 1 of PodCamp Boston 4. I learned about starting up a video podcast with the equipment I already have and take into consideration what I might need to buy in the future. I also learned that experimenting first helps when starting podcasting. I also learn more about how to use Twitter and also won a free copy of the book, Twitter for Dummies. Incidentally, I happen to know one of the co-authors of the book, Leslie Poston (@geechee_girl).
I finally got to meet Mike Langford who is someone I follow on Twitter. He did a workshop about Twitter as did Joselin Mane regarding Tweetups (Twitters who meet up). Adam Weiss did a Q&A about Podcasting and later continued it during lunch. Steve Garfield with Karen and Mike of Hubspot TV were also helpful with their talk about podcasting equipment.
All the while, I emphasized how much I love to write and my two blogs. I got a lot of ideas on how to pursue my writing career to the next level.
A very informative weekend. I can’t wait for PodCamp Boston 5 in 2010!
